Not Born In A Barn 08/15/2010
![]() Following a new tradition of working till late at our house and then going on vacation, Kevin busted his rump till 10pm at are cabin getting in all (that's right all) of our doors and windows. Thats 8 windows, a metal door, and a sliding glass door. Three times in the night we thought we were sunk and Kevin dropped the old tool belt in defeat but all three times he picked back up with new inspiration coming to the end of the night with all tasks achieved and into a victory celebration with homemade pizza from the Rickert gals. That's right, Kendra's sister had a great weekend here, or at least we had a great weekend with her here, even including a bowling night with all the DM gang in Safford (how did it take us 7 years to find the bowling alley?) and a quick visit to the nations least visited national monument. Special thanks to Nick for busting his rump with us, shlepping heavy junk, and reminding our seasoned builder that table saws and skills saws both cut stuff. Will Duncan and his kindergarten friend Scott appeared at of nowhere helping us to save our 80, 80 pound (not a typo) bags of stucco and 20 sheets of drywall from a sudden rain storm. Honorable mention to Earl for arriving just in time to get his face in this picture, close up shop, and eat pizza. CommentsBets Sun, 15 Aug 2010 20:23:25 I saw Kevin after he finished that night - he was exhausted, but also so so happy. :) Congrats on the progress!!
